There is no reason why you have to keep the festivities inside just because it’s a little fast on the outside. With an outdoor fireplace located in the backyard, you can enjoy your company all year. In fact, in regions where the climate is cold most of the year, outdoor fireplaces are particularly popular. But as attractive as the outside chimneys are, there are many risks that go with them – especially if they are installed on a wooden deck.

Here are some safety tips on maintaining an outdoor fireplace.
